Appointments
Who can come to the atelier?
Any bride, mother-of-the-bride, or guest who would like a gown for a wedding or formal occasion. The atelier is also open to brides seeking a second dress — an afterparty look, a civil ceremony gown, or a reception change. All are welcome; all are received personally by Rima.
Do I need to book ahead?
Yes — the atelier is by appointment only. This means your visit is unhurried and undivided. Send us a WhatsApp message or email and we will arrange a time within the week. Walk-ins are only possible if Rima happens to be free, which is rare.
Can I bring friends or family?
Of course. We suggest a small group — two or three people whose opinion you truly trust. Larger groups can sometimes make the conversation harder, not easier. The final decision should always feel yours.
How long does a first fitting take?
A first appointment is typically between 90 minutes and two hours. This is not a rushed browsing session — it is a proper introduction. We will discuss your event, your silhouette preferences, your budget, and walk through the collection or sketch ideas if you are customising.
Is the first appointment free?
Yes. The first consultation is entirely free of charge, with no obligation. There is no pressure to decide on the day. We would rather you leave with clarity than with a gown you are unsure about.

Buy · Rent · Customise
What is the difference between the three options?
Buy — you take the gown home as yours, fitted and altered at the atelier for your measurements. It is yours to keep.
Rent — you wear a gown from the collection for your event and return it to us. Alterations are included in the rental price. Ideal for brides who prefer to invest elsewhere.
Customise — you describe your vision (or arrive with inspiration), Rima sketches it, and it is constructed entirely for you — from muslin toile to final hem. This is Maison Rima's most personal service.

How does renting work exactly?
You choose a gown from the atelier collection, pay the rental fee (which includes all necessary alterations), and keep the gown for the period surrounding your event. After your wedding or occasion, the gown is returned to us in the same condition. We handle the cleaning and restoration.
How long does a custom gown take?
Custom work begins at six weeks and typically spans eight to twelve weeks, depending on complexity — embroidery, beadwork, and structured silhouettes require more time. If your wedding is approaching, message us immediately; we will tell you honestly whether the timeline is achievable.
What if I change my mind after deciding?
If you change your mind before alterations have begun, we can usually accommodate a change of direction. Once alterations are underway, a change of gown may incur a fee. Customised gowns cannot be cancelled once the fabric has been cut. We will always be clear about where we are in the process.
Can you ship a purchased or customised gown abroad?
Yes. We ship internationally via DHL Express. Please see our Shipping & Returns page for lead times, duties, and regional details.

Prices & Payment
How much does a gown cost?
Maison Rima is accessible luxury — not every gown carries a couture price tag. Ready-to-buy gowns begin at a fraction of the cost of a commissioned piece, and rentals make the collection available at a further step down. Custom commissions are priced according to fabric, complexity, and hours. Please enquire directly for a quote — we are transparent and will never surprise you.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash (USD or LBP at the market rate), bank transfer, and OMT/WhishMoney. Payment terms are confirmed at the time of purchase or commission.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A deposit is required to reserve a rental gown and to begin a custom commission. This secures your date and covers initial materials. The balance is due at the final fitting before your event.
What is your return and refund policy?
Purchased gowns are final sale once alterations begin — at that point the gown has been altered to your measurements and cannot be resold. Rental gowns are always returned to us. Customised gowns are non-returnable. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. Please see our Shipping & Returns page for the full policy.

The Atelier
Where exactly are you located?
Maison Rima is on Azmi Street, Tripoli, Lebanon — the heart of the city's elegant commercial district. When you message us for an appointment, we will send you the exact pin.
Do you travel to the bride?
The atelier is where our tools, fabrics, and mirrors live — so all fittings take place at the studio. For final-day steaming and last-minute alterations we can sometimes make arrangements within Tripoli, but this is by special arrangement and subject to availability.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — to most of the world via DHL Express. We have dressed brides in the Gulf, France, Germany, and beyond. Full details on our Shipping & Returns page.
What languages do you speak at the atelier?
Arabic, French, and English — whichever feels most comfortable to you. Rima has worked with brides from across the Arab world, Europe, and the diaspora. The conversation will flow.
